Hi there! I'm Tara Trimble and I'm thrilled to be living in the great state of Texas with my husband (who's a native Texan)! I spent over 20 years teaching private piano and voice lessons in Minnesota, and I've also taught music in public schools and at a community college. I hold a bachelor's degree in music education from Wartburg College and I'm certified in the Kodaly Method from the University of St. Thomas. As a member of Music Teacher's National Association and Texas Music Teacher's Association, I'm passionate about sharing my love of music with others. I've even had the honor of serving as president of the touring choir, Women of Song, and judging contests for the National Federation of Music Clubs. Plus, I'm a composer and have written several children's musicals - it's been an incredible journey so far!

My Teaching

My students develop a strong foundation in musical technique, artistry and performance. By working together with students to develop goals, whether it's preparing for a competition or overcoming performance anxiety, I am able to help them achieve success. Read what parents and students are saying!

I emphasize the importance of quality practice over quantity, and my students have consistently won top honors in piano and voice competitions, landed their dream roles in musicals, and been accepted to prestigious music programs. Let's work to cultivate a lifelong love and appreciation for making music!
